The embroidered grid pattern gives this quilt such a nice textured look in person, way better than a flat white duvet. It's 100% organic cotton and feels breathable at night, not heavy or sweaty.

Wasn't sure about plain white but the raised grid stitching makes it look way more expensive than it cost. It's breathable enough for summer yet still has some weight to it, and it washed up without any pilling.
