I washed this set before putting it on and it came out of the dryer without a single wrinkle. The white fabric feels substantial rather than thin, and that thin plum line along the edge keeps it from looking plain.
The plum piped edge is such a subtle touch but it really makes the white bedding look less plain. Washed it twice already and the piping still lies flat with no fraying.
Wasn't sure the plum trim would read as too much, but it's actually subtle against the white and looks sharp on our bed. The fabric washed up soft after the first cycle and the corners stayed put on the duvet overnight.
