The basketweave texture gives it this nice airflow that keeps me from overheating, even in summer. It's lighter than I expected but still drapes well over the mattress. The sand color looks softer in person than in the photos.

I run hot at night and this is the first blanket that keeps me comfortable without kicking it off by 3am. The drape is lovely, it sort of pools around you instead of sitting stiff, and the sand color looks great with my linen sheets.
