The vintage washed finish feels broken-in right out of the package, no stiff new-sheet phase at all. The fitted corners actually stay put on my thick mattress, which is more than I can say for my last set.

Washed this before the first use and it came out even softer, with that faded sky color looking just like the photos. Only gripe is it runs a touch snug on my deeper mattress, so I have to tug the corners a bit.
