I expected it to be stiff out of the bag but this organic cotton is soft right away. It's light enough for summer yet I've still been warm under it in fall. The bluestone color looks nice with my gray sheets too.
The hand-stitched detailing on the edges is genuinely beautiful, not something I expected at this price. It's light enough for summer but I've been layering it under a duvet now that it's colder, and the organic cotton hasn't pilled once after three washes.
I was worried a cotton blanket would feel stiff, but this one came out of the wash softer than my old fleece throw. The stitch detailing along the edges is a small touch, but it's held up through several washes without fraying. Not too heavy for summer nights either, which is exactly what I wanted.
