The matelassé weave has just enough texture to make this cover feel expensive without being scratchy, and the organic cotton breathes nicely against the skin. The subtle stripe detail is even prettier in person than in the photos, giving my reading chair a calm coastal vibe.
I’ve been searching for a lumbar cover that doesn’t look flat or stiff, and the in-and-out woven floats give it such a nice dimensional texture you can actually feel. It’s held up well after a few washes, and the subtle stripe detail keeps it from feeling too busy.
The matelassé weave gives it just the right amount of texture without feeling scratchy, and the organic cotton is breathable on a warm evening. The subtle stripe and wave pattern look even better in person, adding a calm coastal touch to my reading nook.
